Bird guards and cap replacement
Missing or smashed exterior caps let birds, nesting material, and rodents into the duct. We fit a proper vent cap with a guard that still lets the dryer exhaust freely, so the fix does not become the next restriction.
Disconnected and separated duct
Sections that pulled apart inside a wall, floor, or crawl space dump warm wet lint into the structure. Where the run is accessible we reconnect and secure it, then confirm airflow at the outside cap.
Poorly routed or over-turned runs
Extra turns, sagging flex duct, and long unsupported stretches trap lint faster than any brush can keep up with. When it is accessible we straighten, shorten, or support the run so the next cleaning actually lasts.
Screened or blocked exits
Insect screen across a dryer exit is a lint trap. We remove it and fit the correct termination.
